The owner Mr. Xinguo would not refund deposit when we never moved in due to mold issues they were having, also tried to get us to move in with apartment extremely dirty from previous owner. $900 and no refund. Who does that even to a pregnant woman

I recently put a deposit of almost 1,500 for an apartment unit that looked to be in living condition. The reason why is because the real estate agent Liza sent me a video and it looked ready to move in. To my surprise when I got the key and walked in, the apartment was in no living condition. It was false advertisement and not only that she tried to blame me by saying “it’s your fault for not going to see it first” well she had sent me a video of it so I didn’t think she was a liar. I’m pregnant and told them I would be bringing my newborn baby into that unit and I was not comfortable living in that state. They offered professional cleaning but expected me to connect the light and pay and the owner would reimburse me. He offered me a 3 bedroom apartment one month free and thought it was he

Be sure to view these in person before renting. They are dirty and have mold. They will not return security deposit once you see how awful the living conditions are and unsuitable they are for living in. BE WARNED

They send you videos of when the apartments were new but when you actually go see the apartments there’s mold and they’re dirty like extremely dirty!! No one should do business with these people. Disgusting people really keeping a deposit after they falsely represented a unit.

Be sure to view these before you move in. They will send videos with extremely dirty conditions glossed over, have you move in under false pretenses, then refuse to return the deposit. VIEW BEFORE MOVING IN. THEY HAVE MOLD.
