Sterling Oaks

There are roaches and the plumbing is horrendous. The dishwasher doesn’t drain so makes it useless. The sink in the bathroom and kitchen leaks. The lock didn’t work when I first moved in. I called them one time when some other tenant used his key to unlock my door and they didn’t do anything about it for 2 weeks, and that’s bc I stormed into their office. It was a rough neighborhood so I worried about my safety, cause some random guy opened up my door. It wasn’t just once but twice. I also had a random lady knock on my door late at night. I went to the office and asked them face to face. You’ll get no responses if you call them. I paid my rent on time except for one month(December) and they threatened me with eviction even though I paid on time every month but one. The pictures on the webs

Still waiting for them to fix my ceiling in the bathroom been leaking for years because of our rude neighbors and maintenance that doesn't know what they are doing. You guys never pick up to help the phone to help your community . Pest problems that you guys let slide because you all don't live here. This apartment complex is trash and a joke. Apartments are small as hell , you can hear everyone doing everything literally. No ventilation at all , not even 600 sq ft. I wish I never moved here and you guys really cared or wanted to know more you would have fixed my apartment by now. I've lived here for years and you guys make it seem like we don't pay rent on time and everytime. Visible mold on my wall in the bathroom and leaking at night. Just sad this place was cool now it's terrible

I visited here because I was looking for a place to rent. So many bad reviews anyone inquiring about things on the application the answers were vague. The rent is overpriced for the appearance of the place and felt they were hiding something in order to try to rent these apartments to people. Even the model apartment that was shown to me to give me an idea of what my apartment might look like if I'm renting there, was not set up and looked like it was messy and not impressive at all. They have a swimming pool which I was not shown and the expectations of what this real estate agent slash owner expects its tenants to have is just not realistic. I am currently looking for a 1 bedroom, The Property Manager and Leasing Consultant is truly the life of the property. I walk into the leasing office I was greeted by Ms.Tanya who was very friendly she explain everything by the property. Joseph the property manager is the sweetest person you will ever meet. He loves his community and the way he talk about Sterling Oaks was amazing. The upgrades are amazing! The community has change a lot. I can't wait to move-in!

This complex is not good. Maintenance is careless (leaving doors unlocked / keys to doors right outside after completing maintenance calls), I could never get a hold of the leasing office and get anyone to call me back for anything. Not to mention theres creepy people wandering the neighborhood at all hours of the night, looking in windows and doing drugs in the back of the neighborhood. I recently moved out after living there for 3 years and I'm so happy to finally be away from this place. It's been almost 2 months since I've moved out and I still can't get anyone to call me back regarding my security deposit.
