Oh wow this place is great and this is actually a story from what's happened to one of my neighbors. This company did an air conditioner repair in a unit, the plug for the air conditioner comes to the outside of the apartment, gets plugged into an extension cord, The cords frayed , don't even think it's the proper amperage for the air conditioner, let alone an air conditioners not to be installed with an extension cord. It's right in the manual .and then ran back into the apartment to be plugged in. This is from the same company that doesn't allow people to have deep freezers because they might cause a fire. But they'll do repair work that it is against fire code, against building code, against everything that they're supposed to be doing to maintain the welfare of the tenant. Oh yeah

In early 2025, our apartment complex was transitioned to Sterling after our prior landlord lost her license. Almost immediately, issues that were not taken seriously prior were given full attention (tenant smoking, etc.). Maintenance on the property was immediately scheduled. Marlena and her team were extremely thorough and well documented when it came to our security deposit. We felt like we were treated fairly. Rent is going to be expensive everywhere - save yourself the additional stress of renting from unfriendly people and trust Sterling.

Awful experience from management. Marlena especially. She's known in the company for harassment, sub-par knowledge of Tenent rights, and no empathy. My apartment was unsafe for human habitation. My apartment was like a roller coaster it had so many elevations. Heater, outlets, exhaust fans all didn't work and would be marked as completed or deleted when sending in a maintenance request. They denied me after I was approved because of affiliation to a DV crime I witnessed!! I'm not even named in anything and they personally decided no. Even the people in the apartments (Draper Park) are being harassed for saying they knew anything about the DV crime and previous tenants. Stay away from Sterling Management and Draper Park Apartments. It may be a decent price but think about your quality of li

My family and I rented from Sterling Property Management from 2014-2022 and must say, our experiences do not reflect the poor reviews we just read. The Property Manager, Angie, for the duration of our eight years, was consistent, thorough, approachable, and professional. She always answered her phone, allowing for effective and stress free communication. Her experience as a Property Manager for well over a decade now, has been a breath of fresh air when having to navigate being a renter in the local Corvallis area. Maintenance orders were handled by Mark, who was always respectable and professional. These two should be recognized for their above and beyond work and this is the best way I could show my appreciation. Truly, thank you for everything!

They are amazing! If you've never been a tenant of theirs, you're missing out on a lot. There are way more pros than cons about renting with them. Very people friendly and very loving towards tenants' animals when getting maintenance done. That's to say the least 🥰.
