If I could put negative stars I would. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TITLE COMPANY. I have bought and sold a house so working with title companies isn’t new to me. What is new to me is dealing with agents who do not guide you through the process and make sure you are working through the process. Cassandra was the agent for my closing on my house and I quite literally have NEVER dealt with someone with such poor customer service skills. I went back and forth with my mortgage company trying to figure out for weeks why I heard nothing from the title company to arrange closing. Finally two days before closing I get a call, then the day before finally have my remote closing scheduled. If I could give a zero I would. Because of their clerical error per the title we are not the owners of our home purchased via focus even though we payed our down payment and signed everything correctly on our side of things. Their error is costing us our homestead for the year and costing us money for our property taxes. Highly recommend bringing a lawyer for closing to ensure this doesn’t happen to you!
