Starling Village - A 55+ Community

Not a place to live. Staff young girl rude and nasty. Ms Bell uncaring only think money. My husband passed he was a veteran living there. I was there to clean out his apartment, to get his belongings and pick up his remains for memorial service. Ms Bell put me out of the apartment that nite of the Jan 14th, 2026. I tried to tell her I don't live here, jus trying to clean the apartment and get my husband belongings, she told me I had until 6pm that night. I was planning on moving to Virginia and we were going to at house before he got sick, but all those plans changed when he passed away on the 3rd of Jan. 2026. Starling Village should have a higher Google Review rating than 3.2. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The manager, Mrs. Bell and her staff have been nothing but kind and helpful to me. Mrs. Bell worked diligently with my sister during the move-in process as I was recovering from surgery. Starling Village has actually become therapeutic and a way of healing for me due to the day and night peaceful stillness. I feel safe here. The area is well-lit at night with a breathtaking scenery in the center of the complex. The landscaping is beautiful and well kept regularly. As for the complaints about bugs, residents need to report to the office right away that they have a problem, and the staff will not hesitate to get the issue resolved. The apartments are decent. They seem to always have vacancies. I have heard some residents say they're expensive. The property is maintained regularly and they come around and pick up the trash twice per week. The neighbors seem friendly and look out for one another. It's also conveniently located behind a shopping center that has clothing stores, a beauty supply, 2 furniture stores, and two discount stores. There is also a facility that provides services for veterans, a pawn shop and a barbershop just to name a few. Check it out and see for yourself.

Upon visiting the office looking for an apartment the staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. Everyone in the office went above and beyond to help. Keep up the great customer service ladies
