Stanley Martin Homes at Cornerstone Townes - SOLD OUT

Edit on 09/22/22: Changed my 5 stars to 1 star. Expected completion date: July 2022 Tentative completion date: Unknown Lot of delays in home construction citing various reasons, while other similar constructions in the same area are progressing further. No response for emails/phone calls from the sales manager. Highly unprofessional attitude. I feel bad for a lot of families like us who are under undue financial/emotional stress while waiting forever for their construction to complete. Old review: Nice location and well designed floor plans. My wife and I had a wonderful experience working with the Sales Manager, Jackie Barkey. She was very responsive and clarified all our doubts throughout the entire home buying process. Highly recommend!

We applied buying a house in this community in early April. Since then the communication is really difficult. 90% time we couldn’t get any feedback. With the rare opportunity when we get an answer, the answer shifts left and right. I understand today’s market is a sellers market. Buy you still cans and want to treat people with decency, courtesy and honesty. I got none from the sales manager from this community. Update 06/19/2021: I was told to wait for May, then June, now phase 2. I asked for a phase 2 site plan. The rep replied she’ll send Wednesday. . Now four days passed, as expected she just totally forgot. What a horrible way treating customers, lies left and right. I’ll document everything happened with my buying journal with this lady here.

First time home buyer and similar to the other one star review here, my wife and I had a terrible experience trying to buy a home not just here but in any SM community. Not only is the sales manager for this community unresponsive and disrespectful, so is the entire sales team for NC. I tried 3 different SM communities and all of them were terrible at communicating. We were promised to be put on the waitlist by Jackie Barkie(?) and apparently were number 5 on it when the community initially opened. Since then we have reached out almost once every week for the past few months and they always say they are sold out for the month and we have to wait for the next phase.
