Standard on the River

So I've been living here since October of 2024 and I renewed my lease mainly because of George our manager. He is; hands down the best property manager I've had in all the places I have lived in Houston. The property, staff and amenities that the Standard has is incredible. I have never been so happy living somewhere. Our view is Spectacular and all the residents are friendly. Plus having the Pet spa is a big help when I have to bath my pups.

I have had the pleasure of staying at Standard on the River for my very FIRST apartment, and it's been nothing short of an amazing experience. From the moment I toured the property, the staff—especially Assistant Manager George—made me feel truly welcomed and confident in my decision to move in. One of my favorite features is direct access to the Buffalo Bayou trails and green space — it’s wonderful to step outside and be immediately immersed in nature, right next to the urban energy of Houston. The location is also a big win: being in EaDo, you’re close to downtown, local shops, restaurants, and transit, which all makes Houston so dynamic. The amenities are first-class: a pristine pool and cabana area, a barbecue grill and pizza oven, a well-equipped fitness center, a stylish and aesthet

Jorge is an outstanding manager at Standard on the River. His communication is excellent, he’s attentive to the residents, and he always finds a resolution when issues come up. He’s helpful, guiding, and brings a great presence to the community. He clearly cares about the overall experience and does a great job.

Great location! Great amenities and one of the best management teams I’ve had the pleasure of working with ever. I moved here in January, and I have not had an issue. Maintenance requests are taken care of swiftly. George and his team here, have gone above and beyond to make this place feel like home to me. My guests love visiting here, they’re always complimentary of how clean the complex is. I’d recommend this place to anyone who loves a great location, great management team and a luxurious property with an overall great chill vibe! Did I mention the view is top notch!

(Previous Resident- 1bd. Apt w/private yard) The absolute perfect place to call home if you want to live in the city, without living in the city (IYKYK). For me, it was the breathtaking, unobstructed view of downtown that lured me in, but it was the attention to details that made me sign. Take it from someone who has worked in residential construction for years, this apartment complex was built with the residents in mind. It’s the little things like soft close cabinet doors, USB-C outlets, a dedicated workspace and private yards, among many other things, that just make life easier. In addition, the amenities are hands down some of the best in or around the city and with the best views.
