St Luke's Life Center Apartments

Apartment is very nice. Rent is getting higher each year and is about half my income now. Fixed income won't be enough to make it into the next year or two. Will have to move into the street.

For one thing I am truly blessed to be here! Nancy was amazing and so helpful every step of the way! I am in love with my 1 bedroom apartment, perfect size for me. I am disabled and the accommodations inside and outside are so helpful. Thank you, St. Luke’s Life Center and thank you, Nancy!

The appliances are old and need to be updated. The hallways are dirty. Have been that way for years. The patio by the swimming pool is dirty. I have been for years. The carpets in the apartments need to be replaced. The dryers in the apartments are overpriced. the lights inside the apartment are so old they need to be replaced.

Office managers are helpful and friendly . Maintenance guy is probably super busy most days. He repairs air-conditioning problems, pumping issues, light fixture attached to the fan, etc. Pete is very helpful and friendly. Apartment was newly painted with new carpet and new kitchen/ bathroom flooring. Cons: two bedroom is Small square footage about 820 square ft overpriced for square ft. Unable to use clubhouse, pool, sitting area near pool for 5 Months due to whoever owns this property.(covid scare) Chickens and roosters are on the property sometimes; crowing and wake up some residents. Someone told me the chickens have been around a couple yrs.They belonged to someone in the neighborhood, but are now ferral. Not the safest neighborhood.

My maintenance problem was handled in a timely manner. The Maintenance Manager fixed the problem and gave explanation on how the bottom draw to my stove works. Very good explanation. Very courteous mannerism also. Good Job.
