St. Laurent Apartments

Please read this before you move here. I’ve lived here for 4 years now and it’s been nothing short of a nightmare. But the WORST thing you should know about these apartments is that you’ll never get a good nights sleep here. The apartments are very poorly built. The air conditioners leak into the wall causing structural damage and mold, the bathroom doesn’t have any sort of ventilation despite having a vent so the humidity makes the roof of the bathroom peel and fall off, and you can hear your literal neighbors breathe these walls are so paper thin. Every single morning I’m awoken at 4am to my neighbors pacing back and fourth upstairs or their kids running. And the unit is only a small 1 bedroom so you can imagine how crazily annoying it is to hear that all day every single day by with now

I have lived here for many years, and what I like the most is that they respond instantly to any request — they can come the same day, take a look, and fix everything. It’s very convenient. I also like that there is a choice between 1- and 2-bedroom apartments, not all units are the same. I can gladly recommend this place. I’m waiting for my relatives to move in — we will live in different apartments, but close to each other.

I had to share this to warn other people-visitors like me. I visit my friends there occasionally and that place gets worse every year. Property is not taken care of the complex-trash and broken glass sometimes on the parking lot. You have to be very careful where you park your car. Tenants letting their kids playing ball and riding bikes on the parking lot and management is not doing anything about it. Major safety concern that I as well as my friends who rent there tried to bring up to the leasing company but I guess they don’t give a damn as long as they get their money. I would not rent an apartment there even if it was for free. Just a quick update regarding the “standard and basic” owners’ answer. The onsite office is ALWAYS closed no matter of time of the day. It's just awful. There are mice in the apartments, the manager is never at work, the office is always closed. In the apartment opposite, TEN MEN live in a one-room apartment, the manager knows about it and does nothing. Anyone can park anywhere, in the morning sometimes it's impossible to leave the place, because other cars block the way. Let's say, one apartment has two parking spaces, but these ten men in one apartment have a car each, and they are all in the parking lot!!! The street is dirty, there is garbage everywhere, the air conditioners are old. Horror. There are constant problems with the heating in winter. The corridor often smells of GAS. Parents allow their children aged 5-13 to run and play ball in the parking lot, and they hit the ball at cars! No one responds to the parents

Infested with mice and cockroach. Management is crazy people who doesn't care. Only chasing rent money. A lot of issues.
