The first time our loan was denied because we were prequalified for a home that we didn’t qualify for. I found this out after giving Dream Finders Homes a $10,000 deposit. I tried to cancel, tried to talk to them about it. Nothing worked. After hiring an attorney they agreed that they would keep my money as a credit if I purchased from them within a year. I attempted to purchase again this time using their lender and was denied again. This time because one of my husband credit scores were not showing up. Dream Finders refused to release my deposit and stopped all communication with me. I recently posted about it in a private social media group and Dream Finders homes contacted me by text! My husband and I have been in SC 5 times for vacation. I just like it here. The homes are adorable but cannot find the right layout. The Builder has been very helpful.
