Loyd and Justin are an amazing team. They gutted and completely rebuilt my kitchen and master bathroom, and I could not be more pleased. Their expertise, kindness, consideration, and consistently thorough conversations regarding each step of the project put them head and shoulders above many other contractors in Austin. I have had other remodeling and upgrade projects done at my houses over the years, but I really did not know the difference in quality until I found Specialty Builders. Ethics and Integrity matter to me, and they are the full package. I have recommended Loyd and Justin to friends and colleagues who are making improvements to their homes, and I will absolutely call them again when I want to do another project.

We have a "beautiful" new kitchen…many thanks to Specialty Builders who provides excellent craftsmanship and project management. The kitchen remodel involved a wall removal between kitchen and dining room, demolition, and placing beams in the attic. Loyd was patient with our decision-making and conscientious of our budget. I have worked with Specialty Builders on a number of projects now and have had nothing but positive experiences. Our first project together totaled $200K+ worth of work to convert 5200 sq. ft. worth of space from a home to an office. They redid the space's internal wiring/electrical/lighting, replaced the flooring throughout, replaced siding and repainted, and most impressively - knocked down several walls to convert 4 bedrooms to a large co-working space. Specialty Builders renovated our master bathroom and kitchen and did a fantastic job. Loyd and Chris were great to work with and always kept us informed. We had a baby due date coming up and they stuck to their timeline and actually finished ahead of time. We also lived in the house during the renovation and they did a great job of being considerate to us and keeping the job site clean. We are planning to do our guest bathroom soon and will definitely be calling Specialty Builders again!

Specialty Builders did a custom cabinetry job in multiple locations in my home. They removed a wall and replaced it with custom half wall cabinets and did storage cabinets in my bathroom. Specialty Builders performed multiple projects for my HOA while I was the president of the board, including extensive wrought iron fence repair, a major fence replacement, a major staining job on a pool house, and a brick wall partial rebuild.
