I recently went through the leasing process with this property and ultimately decided not to move forward. I wanted to share my experience so others can be aware before applying. During the process, the unit I was shown and applied for was switched multiple times without my acknowledgment. I was later told I would have to pay a higher price for an ADA unit I never requested. I also felt that some of the leasing agents I interacted with were not approachable or considerate. For example, when I came in with my move-in packet and had additional questions about access to the building, one of the agents cut me off mid-conversation and said, “I have to get back to work.” As someone who was preparing to be a future tenant, that interaction made me feel unimportant and as though my concerns didn’

Management is terrible. Things go unaddressed for several months in apts and in common areas. They also gave me a 24hr entry notice 9 hrs before they entered... with backdated dates on the paper.. thats illegal. The lobby and main elevator is wiped down 1/wk when it should be EVERY DAY bcuz things get real dirty with high traffic areas. They'll even leave dog pee in the elvator until cleaning day... They only clean the hallways about 1x/3mo & I have only seen cleaners in the gym twice... They dont offer wipes in the gym either, gotta bring your own. Turn over rate with staff is high too. Theyll just have new folks in the front and not update us with the new point of contact for things... I have lived in many apts and I have never experiences such odor. I've had enough with the management company here, don't get me wrong, the building and everything else has been OK, but we we're promised a $2k gift card when we moved in at the end of the month we moved in... 2 MONTHS LATER, we're still waiting on said gift card, and have gotten nothing but bullshit, run-around, and lies. The office at the apartment, all of the sudden switched it up to say "corporate office" is now handling the gift card, but when I called (if you can even get ahold of someone, the person they told us to call goes straight voicemail), we were told that the apartment office should be handling it. The apartments themselves are great, but… there are too many homeless people, uneducated people (to put it mildly), and some drunks. It's difficult to keep the building clean; the elevators are always dirty, nobody cares about cleanliness (the building is cleaned three times a week), there's dog urine in the elevator, the common dog area is disgusting, and few people pick up after their dogs. The previous management was HORRIBLE, Laura. I hope this new management does something right.

Spark Apartments on North Temple in Salt Lake is greaß is great! Their management team works hard for their tenants and so does their security team at Rockwell Security Patrol, LLC. The apartments at Spark are set up amazingly!
