The way this company has treated my family was absolutely inhumane. We lost EVERYTHING due to a mold infestation (none of our fault) they've denied that there was even mold in the apartment. We paid for our own mold test with a third party company and the report came back saying that there was 3 different kinds of mold in our apartment. My husband and toddler were sick for months!!!! They have yet to acknowledge that. My family has lost everything and this company does not care AT ALL!! We've been displaced for 2 months while STILL PAYING RENT ON TIME!!! DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THIS EVIL, DECEITFUL COMPANY!! $20,000 + of money lost and gone forever. We now have to start from scratch!

If I could leave zero stars I would. Palisades At Paris Mountain,Greenville, Sc our community has downgraded since Southwood Realty bought the property. Every 2-3 months there is a new property manager, no one is ever working in the office or returns your calls. When you do speak to someone the staff are rude and try to be condescending. The maintenance team is never the same people, the team is new every 30 days. Good luck getting anything fixed. I had to go a week without A/C and had to purchase my own portable unit.... Last week, they had a company come power wash our building and prep for painting. The company stopped in the middle of the job, so our windows and balconys are still covered in plastic. I called property manager regarding not being able to open my windows for fresh air

HORRIBLE COMPANY. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE. Our apartment unit at lodges of lake Wylie kept having a reoccurring mold problem. Each time they would just come and paint over it. At the time I had a 3 year old, a pregnant wife with a compromised immune system, and I myself have respiratory issues so can’t really live in mold. They so “graciously” allowed us to break our lease and move out. We ended up trashing over $2,000 worth of furniture because they refused to mitigate the mold properly. When we mentioned this to them the property manager told us to lawyer up. We were prepared to just cut our losses and put the whole thing behind us but they just sent a letter saying we still owed a half months rent. I went back and looked at my bank statement and we never missed a single payment. M

Do NOT rent from any Southwood realty. We are at Windsor Upon Stonecrest and have had non stop issues with staff and resident below us harassing us repeatedly. The office is unprofessional, inappropriate, follow no system of policy at all, and does not communicate. It is a very racially tense atmosphere here as well unfortunately. When we moved in the staff was completely different. That staff was gone within a month. This staff will talk nasty to residents over the phone, then try to follow up with a semi professional sounding email. I have requested to speak with the “Regional” for about six months now, since the office manager says ridiculous things that supposedly come from the Regional. I have yet to hear from this person. Stay away from this place, big mold issues from showers not being sealed correctly when built. Office staff refuses to enforce rules on dog feces everywhere and piles of trash in corners of hallways from past tenants. Multiple visits to the office, nothing happens. Call and email the regional manager, no response. This company doesn't even have customer support to reach out to. I wish evolved still owned this place, it was way better.
