Price is great. Neighbors are awesome. Staff is fantastic. Anything you need you can call the office where Suzanne and Daina are friendly as ever and can help with anything from repairs to being locked out.

Southgate/Rydal Review After being a tenant here for 16 months, I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone. From mold issues to constant plumbing issues (constantly having the water turned off) to mice, dog feces all over the property and overall filth. Dating back to January of last year we have email proof asking for someone to come assess the mold in our AC units and walls. We have multiple emails since then asking for the issue to be rectified due to health issues that occurred from the mold. After a very scary ER visit we emailed again to ask for maintenance to clean the units following air quality tests showing black mold. Management (Jacqueline) was not friendly or helpful. She was caught in multiple lies and did not want to rectify the situation until we got the Depar

Issues I've had since living here 1. Mice. This is persistent. We do everything we can but somehow every summer they come 2. Bees and wasps getting into the apartment through the air conditioning unit. After putting net on the unit they would still get in. 3. Paper thin walls. We hear everything going on outside from loud conversations to crying babies to truck sounds 4. Plumbing issues: the water coming out of the shower faucet has been brown. I looked it up and this is supposedly a broken rusted pipe issue. 5. The apartment gets too hot. In the summer time in particular it's 5-10 degrees hotter than the outside. The ac unit in the living room is too small to actually cool the entire area properly 6. Ventilation is poor. Mold gets in the bathroom constantly. I often have terrible allergie

I forgot my keys and got locked out, so I tried calling the apartment management office. There was only a business phone line with voicemail. No one works at this apartment complex on weekends—not even remote on-call staff.

I lived here for 3 years and for the price, it was affordable for one person. My neighbors were quiet so I never had an issue with noise. The major issue I dealt with here were the house centipedes. They only appeared when the weather was hot and I would use Raid to deal with them. Exterminators would come and spray my unit but they always reappeared regardless. Maintenance was decent as they always fixed any problems I had. Overall, yes, this place definitely needs work (with bugs, with old renovations and dust). It's not perfect but I never disliked my time here.
