Southgate Glen

Would give it ZERO if I could! My friend and I applied for an apartment here and they led us to believe we were accepted and asked us to go ahead and pay a $375 security deposit. I mean, usually you don’t pay a deposit unless you got the place right? They denied us at the last minute because of credit reasons and insisted we find a co-signer who makes 5x the rent and perfect credit. Absolutely ridiculous. We asked for our deposit to be refunded to us and they told us that it is “company policy” to hold it for 30 days before refunding it back to the card. There is absolutely no good explanation as to why these people need to hold my money for 30 days. We are being treated like we inconvenienced them for being denied so therefore our money is being withheld. It has been over 30 days now and

My experience so far has been pleasant and peaceful. Most of the tenants here are friendly and I love the fact that we can have our pets with us. Maintenance is great and love the staff here.

I've lived at Southgate Glen for a year now and have no complaints. The grounds are very well maintained. Any needed repairs in apartment are taken care of in a very timely and professional manner. Every tenant I have come in contact with have all been friendly. I feel comfortable and safe here. Thankful I found a nice place to call home.

I like the community. I like my neighbors. I like the convenience in location. The local staff are good people. I suspect the corporate office keeps them from doing much for tenants. Edited 4/26/2021: The apartments themselves are nice. I would absolutely recommend them short term. But after almost 4 years of living here, I am worn out with how small the front office makes me feel and I do not recommend renting for an extended time. If you pay for covered parking, expect maintenance and contract workers to leave vehicles in your spot. If your A/C goes out, expect the front office to fake sympathy and tell you, "at least it's only March". (This happened in the first and second year of living here.) It's just been a lot of small things piling up and being dismissed when I try to speak up

This is a great place to live! My husband and I have lived here for about 9 months now and have loved every minute of it. All of our service requests are completed in a timely manner AND the maintenance crew ALWAYS cleans up after themselves which is a huge plus. The office staff is always very friendly and will address us by our names anytime we go into the office. Also, the parking is wonderful. I have never had an issue finding a place to park that is close to my apartment. I highly recommend Southgate Glen Apartments. Make sure to get the newly updated unit!
