Southgate Apartments

I’ve been living at Southgate for the past 3 years, and have had a wonderful time calling it my home. My unit is spacious, has many modern appliances, and a nice, quiet neighborhood. What makes the place even better is the care and familiarity of the maintenance team (Kevin and Bryan) and the manager (Derek). Highly recommend you all to give this awesome community a try!

Predatory management. The management responds until it is time to get your deposit refund. Left the apartment in better condition than what I received and still charged cleaning fees. Emailed multiple times to get a justification for why they were charging cleaning fees but never heard back. Update after reading the response to my initial review: I never received any response to my inquiries regarding the charges. The photos were never sent in the first place, so the re-send request is meaningless. I also hope you have documented photos of the condition of the kitchen when you handed the apartment to me to justify these claims. I am guessing it is potentially a recurring charge to every tenant that lives in the apartment. I did not even know that there was a light fixture on the balcony t

Derek is a phenomenal property manager and Kevin leads the maintenance team. Both are incredibly responsive with tenant needs and we’re pleased to renew our lease for another year. Nice quiet neighborhood and close proximity to CVS and Giant supermarket.

Southgate Apartments provides an exceptional living environment. The management team is professional, responsive, and dedicated to resident satisfaction. The property is well maintained, maintenance is reliable, and the community offers a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The townhouses are good. 3 bedroom apartments are very spacious. Prefer to get maintenance and cleaning done before moving. 2 min from bus stop to campus and downtown. Buses every 15-20 min. 10 min walk from weis market.
