We had an amazing year renting from SouthCoast Properties! The house we rented was 20+ years old and had some things needing repair during our time there and SCP was always on it. The online portal for repair requests was user friendly, autopay for rent was a huge plus, and the entire SCP team including the outside companies they utilize (namely TriStar) were wonderful to work with. Response times were always quick, questions always answered, and issues always resolved. We rented a house in the Arbors which is a great community and I highly recommend it to anyone relocating to the Pooler area. The amenities were great, the house was clean, cozy, well maintained with a beautiful fenced yard, great fireplace, and rent was fairly priced for all we had access to. We hope the next tenants love

Not happy with the management company! We are a military family and stationed in another state. We trusted this company to manage our rental. We have neighbors that kept us up on things going on and we would have to call the company with concerns about unauthorized people in the house for extended time periods and at one point the cops being there multiple times in a row. We also had a home warranty and it wasn't until one plumber canceled due to the tenant not being there for an appointment 3 different times and stated that they will not send someone out to meet the repair person. We finally decided to use a different property management company and due to a lack of a Walk thru since we weren't using them again we now have between 11k and 15k in repairs to do for them only to have the pro

Do not rent from them. We rented a 1920 style house and upon move-in, we raised concerns that the floors felt unstable. Around one month later, my husband fell through the floor to the ductwork underneath the home. south coast maintenance came by and nailed a half inch piece of plywood onto the floors as their “fix“. When we raise concerns that other parts of the floors felt unstable and that a half inch piece of plywood is also a safety concern, they dismissed our emails and would not respond. Eventually, we brought up that they needed to mow as per our lease agreement. In direct response to these emails, south Coast retaliated by sending us an eviction notice that the house is “unsuitable to live in“.
