A number recent positive reviews are of people who have just been showed the apartment. Trust me, you will regret moving in here because I can't wait to move out! While place is in a prime location, It's falling on part. I have also not had the best experience with new staff here who extremely dismissive and rude. Gave great customer services despite the fact that there were still so many issues with the building itself. Now, I dread interacting with staff so much that I would rather deal with a dishwasher that needs repair, a toilet that wabbles and makes a high pitch screech every time I flush it, then deal with them. I’ve had a wonderful experience living at South Lamar Village Apartments! The location is great — right in the heart of South Austin with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and everything that makes Austin such a great place to live. The community is well-maintained, peaceful, and has a great vibe with new management putting in some upgrades. The office team is friendly, professional, and helpful.

I’ve had a really positive experience living at South Lamar Village. One thing that has really stood out to me is how well the property is maintained. I have truly never seen a single bug in my apartment, which honestly feels rare (and very appreciated). I also never hear my neighbors through the walls, which feels especially unique for Austin apartment living and makes the space feel peaceful, safe and private Management has also been very transparent and communicative with residents. There have been occasional issues with the water and hot water going out, but the team always communicates clearly about what’s happening and the steps being taken to fix it. I am currently a resident at South Lamar Village apartments and so far I’ve had a great experience! I would love to shoutout Kassandra, she is an amazing leasing office manager—extremely knowledgeable, patient, and helpful whenever any issues arise. She takes the time to educate residents and truly understands concerns instead of brushing them off. Kassandra is a great problem solver and makes you feel heard and supported. South Lamar Village is lucky to have her!
