South Beach Group Hotels

Do not waste your time or money on any of their hotels. Low quality, terrible customer service, they will ignore you if you have a problem. I booked 2 nights at their beachside hotel. There were 3 locations on the instructions and it took us an hour to find the Checkin. The tv didn’t work, they had someone come out and then fixed it but it was only cable tv so it didn’t matter. It was dirty. There were no trash cans. My partner went to sit in a chair and it broke under him, a total safety hazard. We went to get a refund for the second night and were given the run around by 3 different people. Then when I called they wanted me to email with pics. After all the hassle I booked somewhere else and let go of the refund because it was already so much time out of my weekend off that I was exhau

I have been a regular South Beach Hotel Group patron and after my stay at Waterside this will be THE LAST. We are being charged a resort fee for NO AMENITIES. Our pool is under repair, which was not noted in the booking, we requested kitchen supplies two days ago that have not come and now they are supposedly out, and I requested fresh towels this morning that have still not come. What a dump. Zero customer service.

Beware: SCAM! I decided to spend a night in South Beach with my family, something I would normally consider out of our budget, because I found such a great deal on the Chesterfield Hotel. Then, when we arrived, I was asked to pay a "resort fee." When I asked what this was, the receptionist LIED to me, telling me it was a "city tax." I've since learned that resort fees are tacked-on fees that allow hotels to hide their real rates. I requested a refund, explaining via email that I'd been lied to, but this request was denied - amid much gaslighting about what actually happened. So now I'm taking legal action. This company has apparently been buying up hotels in Miami Beach and running them as a veritable extortion racket. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

⭐ 1 Star Unsafe Environment and Completely Unprofessional Management I had an extremely upsetting experience during my stay at The Catalina Hotel. While sitting at the bar, I was clearly being harassed by a man who wouldn’t stop staring at me, tried to talk to me multiple times, and even sent friends to tell me how much he “liked” me and “couldn’t stop staring at me.” I complained to the manager on duty, Jose, twice — and he refused to remove the man or take any meaningful action. Instead, he offered to move me to another table, which made me feel like I was the problem instead of the person harassing me. When I later tried to speak with someone at the front desk, Jose intervened and stopped me from speaking with anyone else. His attitude was dismissive, unprofessional, and made me feel

Metropole Hotel. This was a quick stay i usually stay for a week. This time only 3 days. I Didn't get my favorite room but this room was great also. This hotel is a great location for the activities I partake in. I was here for the Art Deco festival (Jan. 14-16)which was just one street behind the hotel on Ocean Dr.. Also the beach is one block away.
