READ YOUR LEASE CONTRACT! Before moving out, I received an email with an unexpected $300 professional cleaning due during move out. I looked through the signed lease agreement - no mention of a professional cleaning for move out. Additionally during the tour and move in, staff did not inform me of this fee. I emailed Katie, the property manager, three times and never responded to me. I called the office and the staff explained - Katie, the new property manager, newly added the cleaning fee to new lease contracts but is not stated in old lease contracts (which was mine). These are unjust actions of squeezing out money from its residents. My friend (moved out before me) did not catch this fee and she lost $300. BEWARE LIVING HERE. Read reviews from residents, not the ones that just moved in to get a clear picture of the property. I am a resident and have lived here 2 years. Management is POORLY ran * Gym AC did not work. Always 80+ degrees in the gym. Complained 4 times to the office. No change. They finally fixed the problem after 1 month * No cleaning wipes. Rarely restocks * Various equipment broken * Maintenance requests take 3 weeks to 2 months to complete * Water leaks from unit above me 4 separate TIMES * 1st- water leaking. Complained. Maintenance person comes out. Said supervisor would come out. No one does. 1 week later, water leaks even more * 2nd- water leaking above shower * 3rd- HUGE LEAK. Washing machine above us water line disconnects. Floods apartment * 4th- water leaking again *

I have been a resident here for some time and, until recently, enjoyed living in this community. However, I am concerned about a noticeable decline in property maintenance and resident safety. For example, just last night, I encountered a person who appeared to be homeless outside my front door at the top of the stairs, asking for money and shoes. Given the rent we pay, I would expect a higher standard of security, but when I approached the office about fixing the gate, I was informed that management had decided to leave it open. Meanwhile, the neighboring sister property has a functioning gate to protect residents’ safety. The pool use to be resort style and it was gorgeous. Last year I started noticing the inside of the cabanas were moldy and not being cleaned as well as the inside of the pool. The sides of the pool haven’t been getting cleaned so you can see the vast difference from above and below the water line and the number plaques are dark grey and moldy . This year has gotten drastically worse. The cabanas have been removed, there’s weeds growing through the pavers around the pool, and I’m not exaggerating when I say every single chair and lounge chair is covered in mold. It’s bad enough the gates are getting removed, there’s green mildew on sides of the buildings, the mulch is so bad the sprinkler systems lay bare, and there’s a light pole knocked over at the entrance that’s blocked off with yellow

When I first moved in, I noticed the unit definitely needed some TLC after the previous renters. I contacted management and maintenance came and fixed every issue immediately. Very impressed with the staff here. Thank you so much!
