As an Owner I would not recommend this company especially Donna!! I had this company for my duplex and my tenant complaint multiple times in regards to property owner Donna. Especially that she came knocking on their door without 24 hours notification and was not polite. After she was denied entry she decided not to speak to that spouse but only with another spouse! I also tried to talk to her and tried to call her multiple times without responding. Therefore I sent messages with my opinion and constructive feedback as being unprofessional. When it came time before my contract ending I sent email and document not to extend my contact. However, Donna ignored my email but Amy acknowledged my email as received! Than a day later Donna sends me same email they will not extend contract! Ve

So, I've gotta spill the beans about my experience with Donna Crabtree from Sophus Properties. It's been a bit of a letdown, to be honest. Donna conveniently "forgot" to mention an ongoing eviction process while we were in the middle of buying a house through her. This lack of transparency ended up costing us over $1500 in property inspection fees that wouldn't have been necessary if we'd known about the eviction upfront. Honestly, it's pretty disappointing to encounter this kind of sketchy behavior, especially from someone you're supposed to trust when making such a big decision. Needless to say, I won't be recommending Donna or Sophus Properties to anyone looking to buy or sell. Just wanted to share my experience so others can steer clear of the same headache.

Sophus Properties took a chance on me when as a first time renter in college back in 2018 and I feel like I hit the lottery with this renting agency being my first. You can expect clear and quick communication, fair rates, and EXTREMELY fast responses to maintenance requests. I wound up renting a total of 3 different properties from them in the subsequent years and Donna was not just flexible with my ever changing budget and situation but I also just felt like loyalty with Sophus Properties meant something to them because I always felt accommodated and respected. Would highly recommend them to renters of any stage in their renter’s journey. I will miss renting from them and recommend them in good faith now that I am a homeowner
