Somerset Place Apartments

Multiple Resident's complain about bedbugs , cockroaches , illegal overlapping leases , and overall quality of the complex going down when rent is increased such as graffiti , trash , pool . Issues with other residents hitting and damaging other residents cars in the parking lot , money orders disappearing so keep the bottom to track who's cashing them .

I was a resident here for a year and couldn’t even finish my lease it is infested with roaches and bedbugs and the complex does not care, my closet had such a bad leak and they said it was just the air filter it wasn’t. I wasn’t able to keep anything in my closet without it being soaked. wouldn’t be surprised if it had mold also. the management was screaming at my guest because he was going 7mph in the complex and demanded he never came back. all together not a good place to be. the rent is cheap but there are better quality places with the same rent.

Disgusting place! They lied about not having roaches or bedbugs, and my money order supposedly came up stolen. They notified me late, and by the time we found out about the stolen money order, they had already evicted us. Ridiculous! Our house was broken into and turned into a crack house. When we returned from our vacation and reported the break-in, Brenda, the manager, was laughing about it. And her daughter, who is supposedly the assistant manager—ha! They are frauds and unprofessional.

Landlord is like a slumlord. They have infested popcorn ceilings and instead of addressing the problem they claim the tenants are crazy. There are multiple insects that infest popcorn ceilings snd they are harmful to humans. I wouldn’t recommend renting there. My friend lives there which is how I’ve seen the issue. They also took forever to fix the flooring from water damage due to sewage from the plumbing flooding the lower floor of her building. Everyone was left in their units and had to clean up the mess themselves which had soaked the floors and was seeping out for days through the edges of the flooring vinyl tile stickers or whatever it is. Disgusting.

THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY ORDER RENT, CLAIM TO LOSE IT. THEN EVICT YOU. SUPER RUDE, SHADY AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I KNOW AT LEAST 3 RESIDENTS THAT WERE PUT IN THIS SHADY SITUATION WITH THEM. ROACHES AND CRACK HEADS EVERYWHERE. CLAIM TO HAVE SECURITY BUT CAR HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO 5 TIMES. WILL NEVER COME TO FIX ANYTHING LIKE TOILET OR FLOODS WILL HAVE TO TAKE STUFF INTO YOUR OWN HANDS. IF YOU WANT TO GET YOUR RENT STOLEN FOR FRAUD THIS IS THE PLACE
