Somerset Apartments

My roommate and I are relocating from Sierra Vista, AZ, to Charlotte, NC. We've been planning this transition for months! It has been such a struggle finding a nice place that would be affordable for us. We were rejected three separate times by three different apartment complexes, and the reason being was because our credit isn't very good. There has been mountains we've had to climb just to straighten out old delinquencies that were already paid but still showing up on the credit check. The difference between Somerset Apartments, and all the other complexes we applied for, is that they worked with us! They were patient, they responded to our calls and emails in a timely manner, which was such a big deal for us because we're 2,000 miles away. I cannot say the same thing about most of the o

This apartment complex has been very unprofessional and unhelpful. During the application process, I was charged administration fees that staff later said I should not have been required to pay. However, the fees were still listed on their online application, which caused confusion. When I asked about a refund, I was given conflicting information: one employee said it would take a month, while the manager said two weeks. It has now been over two weeks, and I still have not received the refund. Communication is also a major issue—phone calls and emails go unanswered, and in person, the staff is dismissive and barely greets you. Overall, there was a lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to follow through on promises made.

Is taken over 1 month n am still not living in the apt but saying am approved i just want my refund n time I spent going there over and over since they never pick up the phone when you call them

I went in for a tour and the apartments are really well kept and clean, it was a pleasure working with Maria!
