SOMA at 788 Downtown Apartments

Booked a tour at 11.15am on a Sunday, to find out the leasing office is closed on Sunday. I could have seen another property... waited for 20 mins in an empty lobby. Even though I received several reminders, no way to contact anyone, no information for a self guided tour if that was the intent. Really disrespectful and clearly not a place I am interested in living at. Also an homeless person got into the building as I was waiting, and the neighborhood is terrifying! Enjoy your tour if they show up.

I have been here for just over a year and I can't recommend it enough. Pricing in SF is always really competitive, but their signing incentives, their care of the building, and their promptness to tenant concerns makes it feel more like a bargain. The patio (and its view), the dog friendly atmosphere, and the buildings holiday decor/activities really gives you a sense of community that I find so refreshing for an apartment complex.

I lived at some 788 for 2 years and left for a year or so and made ample attempts in conversation with Tiffany Fuller whom I believed to be one of the better leasing agents I’d ever encountered while renting. I lived here for two full years, minimal hiccups other than appliance fixes / typical maintenance issues. After continued attempts to get my old floorplan back (no one was moving) Tiffany reached out to me asking if I’d like to view a few other apartments; knowing I was already happy with amenities and location- I hoped on a 2 bed 2 bath and paid the deposit without even viewing the unit. During this process, Tiffany explained to me that the new leasing manager Chris Fuentes, was a “stickler” and she didn’t want to “look like she was showing favoritism” when accepting my applicati

I’ve been a resident here at Soma for a long time and I’m getting very frustrated. I’ve seen managers come in and out of here, but this manager has been the worse so far. He doesn’t care about the residents, I almost fell last week coming in the lobby. The lights were off and the security was just sitting there in the dark. I can mention so many other things, but this one broke the camels back. If I fall and get hurt I will sue the manager and the property. Someone please help.

I had a fantastic time last weekend, celebrating both Veterans Day and Diwali. I organized a significant Veterans Day event in the courtyard, and thanks to the incredible support of Tiffany and Sandra, the entire process went seamlessly, making the event a great success.
