My son recently moved to 405 East 56th Street, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Special recognition to Michael Guarino and Sharon Swell, who truly have that rare combination of being both smart and helpful. They were amazing throughout the entire process—patiently answering questions and handling everything from move-in paperwork, and COIs to furniture deliveries and logistics. They really set the bar high. This is by far the worst management company I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve been trying to contact them for several months — no one ever replies. As a tenant who pays rent on time every month, I expect at least some level of communication and basic service. But whenever there’s an issue, they completely ignore you. No response to calls, no reply to emails, no follow-up of any kind. It’s unbelievable how unprofessional and irresponsible this company is. They collect rent but do nothing for their tenants. If you’re thinking of renting from or working with this company, stay away. Total garbage company — avoid at all costs!

Everyone I worked with at Solil was wonderful—professional, friendly, and very down-to-earth. I can only speak to the lease signing process, but they took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all of my questions without any pressure. The entire experience felt smooth, transparent, and genuinely welcoming.

I lived in a Solil Management building and can honestly say it was one of the best rental experiences I’ve had in New York. My super, Ricky, was the best super I’ve ever had — responsive, kind, and always on top of everything. Stacey at the main office made my move seamless and stress-free, and Brandon Ellis, the building broker, not only helped me get the apartment but later went above and beyond to find a replacement tenant when I needed to break my lease. These buildings are run far better than most others in the city — including my current rental, which doesn’t even come close to the same level of care and professionalism. Solil truly sets the standard for excellent management.

I want to thank and recommend Solil management for making the application, approval and move-in process so easy for me.  Everyone I was in contact with in the leasing department was great.  I especially want to thank City Wide Apartments who located my new home for me.  Through every step City Wide was patient, professional and helpful. If you want to work with a landlord who knows how to handle the rental process you have found them.
