Skylar Pointe Apartments

This has been the worst rental property I’ve ever lived in. Management changes constantly and the staff are almost never in the office. When you call, no one answers. If you go to the office, the door is locked, and they claim to be in meetings. They were never open during regular operating hours, making it nearly impossible to reach anyone. During my time here, I dealt with leaks, no hot water, sinking floors, and mold where the hot water heater was. My front door had gaps you could see through, the dishwasher was molded, and the sink leaked. Maintenance would mark service requests as “completed” without ever coming, and corporate never returned calls. Management was very helpful throughout the move in process! The apartments are spacious and beautiful with amazing natural light from my own private patio in the master. There is plenty of storage and a fire place for when it gets cold out (my favorite part is the fireplace it’s so pretty) the neighborhood is tucked away in nature, with a dog park and walking trail right next door. Shops, stores, and restaurants are also just up the road, not far at all but with the neighborhood tucked away you get no loud traffic :))

Updated for newer management again 🤦🏾‍♀️ Not disability friendly at all, been waiting for ADA parking at my building at nothing. There's obviously not one for our building. Constantly dealing with a racist animal abuser next door, nothing has been done about that either. This is so annoying Updated review for newer management. Not liking the fact that my rent has gone up with unnecessary fees. Also, seems like everytime i go to the office it's either no one's there or they seem to have an issue with working. I tried to get a copy of my lease today, and the leasing agent claimed they don't print them anymore. They should notify us of all changes including this. They love sending out notifications regarding late rent, but they fail to keep us notified of office closures, staff changes, etc

My Honest Review as a Former Resident of Skylar Pointe Apartments I moved into Skylar Pointe Apartments in November 2024 after selling my home, looking for a temporary and affordable place to stay while my son finished his senior year of high school. The leasing agent was kind, helpful, and made the move-in process easy. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended. Upon entering the unit, I immediately noticed the outdated white appliances—rusted drip pans, and a refrigerator infested with bugs. Thankfully, I still had appliances from my previous residence, and the leasing agent allowed me to replace theirs with mine. Within 24 hours, we discovered a major leak under the kitchen sink.
