Skaff Apartments - Fargo Office

Ive lived in a Skaff-managed 5-bedroom single family home for around 3 years now, after a long history(battle?) with "fixer upper" homeownership. The benefits of total privacy, so much space with a HUGE fenced yard, an ACTUAL three stall garage with room for a snowblower + fishing gear + bikes along with 3 vehicles (2 SUVs) and literal worry-free maintenance and zero repair costs have made me very comfortable. The rent is reasonable enough compared to local real estate prices to invest in other things while not being tied to a mortgage for the long term. Excellent option if you arent going to be living in the area on a long-term or permanent basis. TLDR: Save your money and rent elsewhere. Before I rented from skaff I've heard decent things about them and their other properties seemed nice but, the 4711 building on 45th st is probably the worst apartment I've ever seen and had the displeasure of living in. Don't let the modern look and appliances fool you the building is practically made out of macaroni and glue. All of our windows fell apart from basic use (opening and closing them) any thing from the frame holding it together to the lining that kept the air out eventually came off the windows and just had to stop opening them all together. I have lived in my apartment for 10 years. I appreciate the maintenance staff who have always been helpful and quick to respond. The office staff has also been great! What's more, I enjoy the many amenities, like the fitness center and underground parking. I wouldn't live anywhere else!

Not that place U think it is. Skaff is full of BS. They lied about apartment availability stating it was only one left and it's all they had available, when actually several were open. Wasnt very happy about that. All because the maintenance men were to lazy to complete their job. And please don't ask staff for any assistance on any issues with your place and if you do, be ready for an attitude cause you'll surely get it. My water was shut off without notice, just when my child was about to take a shower for her doctor appointment, luckily she didn't start or .. Anyway we left without her showering. And when I asked them about it,( they said we didn't think need to notify anyone it was only for an hour&1/2). REALLY! The entryway glass was busted out 2 days after I moved in. Glass everywhe

O wouldn't want tp live any other place. All amenities are appreciated. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
