Six Forks Station Apartments

Kiara is truly an asset to the company. From the beginning of the process, she made me feel comfortable, supported, and well-informed. Her professionalism and patience stood out, as she took the time to answer all of my questions and ensure I fully understood each step. I genuinely appreciate her kindness and the positive energy she brought to the experience. I feel very fortunate that she was the one assisting me, as her guidance made all the difference in helping me secure my new home. I lived in Six Forks Station for a year and am happy to share my honest review of the apartment. First, my move in date kept getting pushed back & when I expressed the inconvenience, the woman whom I was speaking with laughed. When I told her that she was being unprofessional, she called it a “nervous laugh”… what? When I finally moved in, I did so with no tour, no community map, NOT EVEN A MAIL KEY. When I inquired about receiving a mail key, I was told that the mail box was under maintenance and I would be contacted when the key was available. For months, in order to receive mail, I had to request my mail be held at the post office and physically go in to get it. Wanted to share some feedback about the notice for the air vent and smoke detector checks. We received the email after 5p.m. yesterday for inspections happening today between 9 and 5. It would be really helpful in the future if notices like that were posted on our apt door like they use to be. Or sent out with at least 24–48 hours’ notice so everyone is aware in advance. Not everyone likes multiple energies in their home.

Since living here going on almost 2 years I have found the neighborhood to be peaceful and quiet. I don't personally know any of the neighbors, but they are friendly and always speaking. The apartment itself, if I had to do it all over again I have no regrets. The valet garbage pick up crew I applaud very highly. because the trash is picked in a well mannered way. They have not left in trash lingering. Groundskeeping is always consistent with upkeep. Any maintenance concerns have been addressed "promptly" and the men are very cordial and explain the procedures of how they will fix the problem. My encounter with the staff has been nothing but positive interactions. They too have answered any questions that I presented. I have lived here since last year of 2024. When I first moved in my door lock didn't work and was promised in that month I moved in they would fix it. Here we are almost 18 months later and still not fixed. A water leak as of started to happen back in July when I started sending emails, phone calls, using their maintenance app. This water leak is outside our apartment but is connected to the water line and is costing us $150+ each month in water bills. We've tried literally everything we can do to get them to fix it. They keep saying someone will come out but never does. If this continues into December then we will contact the news company and a lawyer. This place is near impossible to get anyone on the phone.
