Terrible cheap trash can. Lid was broken when I got it and the company REFUSED to refund my money even after I provided a video and order number as proof. I don't deal with greedy companies that don't do the right thing! Terrible experience.

I had an issue with one of their products, and not only did they resolve it quickly—they sent me a replacement without hassle. I am impressed with SimpleHuman products and customer service! We have a 58L trash can that is a few years old. One of the hinges on the top of the trash can broke. I chatted with Customer Service, expecting to order (and pay for) a new hinge. I no longer had a receipt. They asked for the Serial Number on the back of the trash can. Instead of sending the part, a new trash can is on the way! THAT’S how you do Customer Service!

Horrible Service & Poor Quality After my first magnifying mirror stopped working just outside of warranty, I purchased a second one. Within months, that mirror also failed. The company admitted it was unfixable and shipped me a replacement—but refused to honor a new warranty, only carrying over the time left from my old purchase. That makes no sense. Clearly even THEY don’t trust their own products. For the premium prices they charge, the quality and service are unacceptable. I’m done with this brand. We’ve since found a comparable mirror at Costco for $50 that works just as well. Save your money—Simplehuman is not worth it.

SimpleHuman AI thinks kids aren't allowed to use their trashcans. I had a hinge break on a trash can that is still under warranty. Provided proof of purchase, serial number, etc. They asked for an explanation of why it broke and I said that my children used to like to press on the pedal to make the lid go up. An AI chatbot came back within 1 minute and said that my warranty claim was denied because children stepping on the pedal was not normal usage.
