Sierra Apartments

I wrote this review then realized I hadn't included a noteworthy situation. Yesterday I was speaking with Ricardo about a concern and mentioned I was feeling ill. He later checked on me to be sure I was OK. You don’t find this often enough in our world. Thank you to the owners for having such a great staff. Soo.. I don’t write reviews very often, but in this world of negativity, I thought I should share this. My husband and I are an older retired couple and have lived in these apartments for one year. They are kept clean and updated. I recently offered the maintenance man Ricardo, a small monetary gift for working so hard, always be available, going over and beyond to help residents, and keeping things up so well. Sleazy ownership and horrible management • These apartments are infested with roaches. I have complained to management several times about roaches since September 22 2023. Pest control was sent twice by management and there has been no changes to the amount of roaches. • The way your water bill is charged is beyond sketchy. Tenants are responsible for the entirety of water usage on this property that includes- outdoor water sprinklers, fire hydrants, and of course the water usage that each of the other tenants use inside their own apartments. Each month you are charged $85 monthly regardless of you being home or not, this amount does not change. • All of your maintenance needs get ignored by the current landlord Matthew, for example we have had a maintenance request in since February 2

Maintenance is excellent! Ricardo comes by quickly and gets any maintenance done in a good timely manner! Appreciate his dedication to making the apartments running properly.

I was considering Sierra until I read the reviews and then I took a ride by because I like to just go and check things out myself. I was not impressed. There’s no pool. I think there’s a fitness center. I didn’t go inside. It’s at the end of a Dead End Road Parking is limited In the parking lotI mean when I say limited it’s limited they have a covered parking permit only which takes up the majority of the parking spaces so to me it’s like you gotta pay for a permit parking and then we all know how that goes. People steal your parking places you’re gonna fight with the management company and the tow company it gets messy so this is a hard pass for me. The pricing does not reflect the property at all. I’ve seen much better at lower prices.
