Sherwood Place Apartments

I had a bad experience from the start. Couldn’t reach the leasing office after paying fees for application. Had to go to the office. Was intentionally downgraded from the apartment I wanted. Had to wait days to get the microwave that was already supposed to be there. There is foam sticking out the bottom of kitchen cabinets. The bathroom tub leaks water constantly. The motor for the hvac unit make the bedroom door shake like crazy. The walls are thin thin. I just wanna say if you’re young and a black male this isn’t the place for you. Oh yeah the washroom has cutouts in the Sheetrock which makes it looks so tacky. Otherwise the complex is a nice one and great staff.

Response time was very fast. The problem was me, as I was impatient and the hot water issue resolved itself. But it still remains that the maintenance team took my request seriously and responded long before I was expecting them to!

The leasing/property managers were nothing but nice, welcoming and helpful the entire time, from the tour to getting my keys. Move in was a seamless process and I’m overall pleased with my unit.

I recently had the pleasure of interacting with the office staff at Sherwood Place and attending several of their community events, and I must say, the experience has been exceptional. The office team is not only professional and efficient but also remarkably friendly and approachable. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure that every resident’s needs are met and that the community runs smoothly. The community events organized by Sherwood Place are nothing short of fantastic. Absolutely amazing engaging social gatherings and even had the Grinch for Christmas and the Easter Bunny. These events foster a strong sense of community and provide ample opportunities for residents to connect and build lasting relationships. I had nothing but a wonderful experience since I moved here nearly 3 years ago. It’s low crime, the neighbors are friendly, and maintenance issues are resolved in reasonable amount of time. The staff is amazing: any issues I have are addressed in a timely manner and I feel like they watch out for me, especially Ms. Veronica. I personally feel like I couldn’t have found a better place to live in BR.
