If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Shelter Cove has been one of the most frustrating and stressful housing situations I’ve ever dealt with. Before I even moved in, I was told I would be responsible for utilities that I had no control over. I repeatedly explained that Southwest Gas and NV Energy could not transfer the accounts into my name before my move-in date — and both companies told me in writing isn’t something they provide. Despite that, the manager, Sandra, insisted that I somehow obtain written proof that the utility companies themselves said was impossible. I was shocked that Shelter Cove expected me to pay charges for services I legally had no ability to activate. It felt like an unreasonable and unfair burden placed entirely on the tenant. I can’t say enough great things about the team at the Shelter Cove leasing office! From the moment we walked in, everyone was so friendly, professional, and eager to help. A huge special shoutout to Ally, our leasing agent—she was absolutely amazing throughout the entire process. Ally went above and beyond to answer all our questions, kept us updated every step of the way, and made moving in such a smooth, stress-free experience. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care for her residents truly stand out. It’s clear she takes pride in what she does and wants everyone to feel right at home. Sheltor Cove Apartments have been nothing but kind to me. They are so amazing and sweet. From the property management, the office clerks, Maintenance even the security guards at night. They always answer any questions and concerns that i have. Im so glad i chose them. I love it here! Having lived at Shelter Cove for several years (and other Olen properties in the past), we are really happy to call this little Oasis home. What stands out about this property is a central location close to our work environments, the quiet and relaxed nature of the property, a diverse mix of working professionals and families, and most notably, an excellent and responsive property management staff. How often is it when one walks into their leasing office and is greeted by their first name with an enthusiastic hello! Melissa and Ally are a pleasure to work with (Always with a positive, professional demeanor), and manager Sandy really gets issues rectified quickly. I'd recommend this property to working professionals who are looking for a great place to recharge.
