Shaool Management

Just moved in to Smith Farm apts in Carlisle An amazing apt! Brand new unit. Great staff to do my first apt rental helped me every step of the way!

Shaool never took care of anything on our move in Checklist after 2 years. we couldnt even get blinds put up (provided under lease) or screens missing in windows We had pipes freeze and flood our townhome. They did minimal repairs. (literally one spot) Left holes in the ceiling, carpets untacked, light fixtures with inches of standing water inside. All photos provided are still unresolved. Our neighbors, a sweet old retired couple, had broken plumbing their first YEAR!!! Even with continuous calls the only way they got any answer from Shaool was with legal action. They did NOT stay past their first year. After this Egregious service, they think its okay to raise the rent every year we’ve stayed. 16% Rent increase in 2 years, with no improvements or upkeep to show for. Truly a despicable

This place is horrible in Chambersburg!! You don't hear back from the owner for weeks in regards to issues. They don't have adequate trash facilities, do things in your apartment without your permission, etc. The people who work in the office take vacation without no coverage, so there's no-one to contact when they are gone. Maintenance will literally climb into your bed to install AC units 6" from your head where you sleep without permission if your AC is out, etc. Don't move here!!!! The walls, floors, ceilings are paper thin and there are trains really close by. You never get any peace and quiet. I have so many videos of all of the noise here. There were also ICE agents outside of the apartment buildings a couple of weeks ago... I will post photos continuously until I am able to move o

Pick and choose what lease violations they will uphold. Leave you without working appliances. Only replace AC filters 2× a year, no wonder half the units need window AC's. Not enough trash receptacles through out the property, dumpsters constantly overflowing.

Shaool owns half or more of Hagerstown. They never fix anything just. Put a bandaid on the problems when repairing damages. They never take care of their tenants. In fact they avoid them. Once I had mushrooms growing within my walls from moisture caused by a leak in the bathroom it took them 2 years to do anything about it. They increase the rents but don't do anything for their tenants. Now every one of their units has to pay untilities. If you rent from Shaool do it at your own risk. Just know you will never see a penny of your deposit.
