Serena Grove 2 Apartments

I recently transferred units in this complex, and the experience was frustrating. My new unit wasn’t ready on 9/30 as promised (they were still installing carpet), so I moved in on 10/01. However, they still charged me prorated rent for 9/30 — a day I couldn’t even access the apartment. When I asked to have the lease updated to reflect the actual move-in date, they said they’d have to charge me month-to-month prorated rent from old unit for 10/01–10/03 — giving me no free of charge time to move my belongings even though they offered that time as a to move my things without mentioning about paying double rent. It felt misleading and unfair. Before that. I was on a month-to-month lease, and asked to stay in my current unit at the new market rate (which is a reasonable request). They refused

Don’t move here unless you enjoy living with roaches, ants, spiders, raccoons and nosy neighbors. Oh and constant issues with ac/heat with. Pest control doesn’t work because the entire building is heavily infested. They will even move you into an infested apartment and not tell you. Rent goes up when it’s not even worth it These apartments need to be torn down honestly.

Every single Mom or Grandma will try super hard to get your attention, they even have a group or a clan where they gather together to talk about the neighbors. I have video proof on my camera. It's not a good complex to live at. The neighbors even think they own the place like if they can't save so buy a house. It's not worth it. I can't even save up cus of the neighbors breaking up the place. They even have hidden fees and the picture down below shows it.

I've lived here for about 10 years. It is a pleasure to be in this property. The neighbors are very friendly. The places are always clean. The new manager is doing a great job removing anything from the balconies that makes the property look bad. Miss Shay Clark is a very nice, kind person, she helps you with everything, I congratulate her on a very good job.

I have lived here for 2 years under different management teams but I must say the new management team is awesome. AJ is the new office manager and since she has been here, I love this place even more. She makes sure the property is clean and the maintenance team is doing their job. She takes all complaints (if any) seriously and make sure the job is done. I am one happy resident. I just renewed my lease again . If you’re looking for a clean, quite place to call home, this is definitely the place to move. Thanks again to management. Sincerely, one happy resident.
