SEDA New Homes

Buyer be aware, I am extremely disappointed with the construction quality of my Seda Homes property. After moving in, I discovered that the exterior walls were assembled without the proper sheeting on the framing, which is a basic step in residential construction and is essential for structural stability and moisture protection. When I raised this concern, I learned that the sheeting was never installed during the build, and this has caused ongoing issues.very hard to understand how they got away with the city building inspector. Inside the home, I’ve also found the master bathroom tiles grout was not sealed properly that caused water leaks in to the frame, multiple cracks in the flooring, ceilings, and walls, some of which have grown over time. These are not hairline settlement cracks —

We just completed a project with SEDA building a home on our lot in Yulee Florida. We could not be more pleased. The on-site Project manager did a fabulous job of catching any issues before any subcontractor left the house. Our final walk-through was a piece of cake. We were also pleased with the options offered in the design center. They had many models from which to choose and we found one that was great for our lot. We chose the Cherryfield II. Highly recommend.

The SEDA team, specifically Mrs. Dawn Corin, has truly exemplified professionalism, dedication and commitment to me and my family through work ethics and above board processes while our home was being built. SEDA took us through every step of the building process, introduced us to the financial institution, who helped tremendously, and the knowledgeable Builders. Everyone was nice and accommodating. They answered questions we had; and there were a lot, or researched to find the answers. If you want a well built house, with many floor plans to choose from within budget, many bells and whistles, I truly recommend SEDA homes. It may take a little while to build, but the home will be everything you can afford, imagine and dream of. SEDA staff, thank you for making our forever home come to frui

The build quality of the homes built by SEDA’s contractors are subpar. Much of the work is performed by unskilled workers with little to no supervision especially from SEDA themselves. There is a reason they make having an inspection of the home before closing so difficult, because it wouldn’t pass. The list of problems with my home is too long to list, but here are the photos of my foundation that needed to be tore up to access the faulty plumbing that was installed. It required use jackhammers inside of my home and it was not properly contained sending dust through my entire home. My walls, floors and trim are all damaged as a result and the solution is always the same. Send out more unskilled labor to do subpar work resulting in further issues. Do your homework before buying, a new home

I had a great experience working with everyone at SEDA. I chose to have one of SEDA’s floor plans built on my lot, and although I had a very difficult lot, they made the process easy. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable, which put my mind at ease. I am so happy with my home and receive compliments from friends and neighbors about how much they love my home.
