As a tenant of one of SCL's properties I had a great experience. Carol provided a same day response to each of my emails and service requests and they usually had someone come out the same day or day after I posted a request. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a rental house/apartment. Very easy to communicate and work with.

I Don’t recommend them for a property management company. Failed to communicate tenant issues. Wants to use their own people for repairs so they can over charge you and then not tell you until after you receive your deposit and the money is removed. Tenants moved out there was 2 broken doors, mold in the sinks, a door repaired from being kicked in, holes in walls not repaired and they said the property was good on move out. Carol or Linda never followed up on the pictures I sent them regarding the move out. So out of my pocket. Nor do they check up on the property and get back to you on walk thru’s. First and worst experience ever using a property manager company.

My experience with this company has not been positive. They do not return phone calls in a timely manner. And they cancelled our planned community yard sale without notice. The HOA flyer did not say we had to respond that we were particapating in the event - so their excuse that no one responded is not a valid one. Beware that they might not return your calls or cancel planned events with no notice.

We've rented 2 two houses from them. They are really nice people. When something needed fixing they got it done the same day or as soon as possible. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a place to rent.

Honestly the most unprofessional, and sadly racist people I have ever dealt with!A good friend lives at a property they recently started managing,they came through and told my friend and several other white tenants they had to get rid of their dogs,the lack tenants get to pay a pet deposit!They had an elderly lady's car towed for no reason when a black tenant was storing a car there,and was told to just uncover it!The list truly goes on,they are a local joke among the real estate companies, BEWARE!
