Santa Fe Trails Apartments

This is an older complex but I have lived here for 3 years and the rent increases each year. I am on a fixed income and is afraid I won't be able to stay another year. I don't have a roach program and feel safe living here. My unit is spacious and comfortable. Maintenance has always come in a timely manner .

We just got newer appliances installed by the management. They are also going to upgrade our kitchen. Ours is a ground level walk out apartment which makes it easy and fast to get in and out. They installed new carpet and paint before we moved in. Zuleema is the office manager and she has good people working in the office, they can also speak Spanish and are very helpful. Hospital close by and lots of shopping across the street to which we can walk to. I believe that the other people who told about bed bugs and roaches did not keep a clean house. The beds belonged to the tenants, not the apartment company. It is a tenant's responsibility to keep their bed and house clean...Our apartment is very clean and we have never had any bug problems for the entire 4 years we have lived here.

I've been living here for going on two years. The apartments are some of the most affordable ones in the area. Convinient location to numerous shopping centers Northpark mall ect. They are also not bad at all for the price. I haven't had any major issues while living here. Maintenance always comes the same day or day after and always gets the job done. The ladies at the office are nice and understanding in most situations. Only negative things I honestly have to say is we only get one sticker for parking and we have two vehicles which is inconvenient for us, but it's the policy per the office that if you live in a one bedroom you get one and so on. Another thing is they literally put a notice on your door for every little thing that they have an issue with which is understandable but even

I unfortunately live here so that you don't have to, this apartments are full of roaches and there is pest control every week which means they're never going away. And also no animals are allowed, on top of that I'm on my way to pick up my truck because it was towed even tho i have a f**** sticker. Apparently it's an apartment policy to tow vehicles when the sticker is not updated, i understand that but i bought the truck 3 days ago and i have been moving it but this people don't give a s**** they just tow away for money like beggars. Anyways I'm moving out to what ever is worth it. Rent is $680 but totally not worth it even tho it seems like a good price.

3x I've had leaks in my bathroom from the air conditioner, each attempt to fix has only been to patch the issue because it keeps coming back. Not fun to have water dripping on your head while using the restroom. The explanation I got left me unsatisfied because I was told it happens all over this "OLD" complex and as the complex maintains the repair logs I can only wonder while wasn't I informed BEFORE I rented???
