Sandalwood Apartments

I am a current resident of Sandalwood Apartments and it's my 4th month living here. I don't plan on renewing my lease here. However here are the pros and cons of living here - Pros - 1. Spacious Studio, gets sufficient sunlight 2. No mold issues 3. Parking Spot is very close to the apartment 4. Gated so chance of getting your car stolen is less 5. Packages haven't got stolen yet 6. Well kept pool, bbq area and grounds Cons - 1. When I moved in here, there were several maintenance issues like the kitchen hose leaking to the point that I had to keep a bucket underneath while washing dishes, plug points all loose, curtain blinds missing and so on. 2. The property manager when I moved in was very difficult to reach out to and after several attempts few of the requests got done and few didn't.

I lived at Sandalwood Apartments for about a year and a half. The management and maintenance team has been a pleasure to work with. They were very attentive to the request I had (not many) and were helpful while i was moving in and moving out, the process was very smooth with no hassle. The community itself was very quiet and friendly, everyone got along and helped each other out when possible. The complex was kept very clean with monthly cleaning of the grounds and weekly cleaning of the pool. This is also a Cat friendly complex which is hard to find now and days. The willow glen neighborhood is very nice and quiet and you are very close to the downtown WG area, which is convenient. Overall I highly recommend this a apartment complex for any single or young couple with not a lot of things

Laundry room is an issue here. Machines always down and moldy. Landlord has a third party who leased the room with their machines. Units are mostly outdated especially the bathrooms. Front gate and side gate are constantly broken. Plus: no rodent or roaches problems. Grounds taken care of weekly. Very nice community. Laundry is really the only issue I have. Would be a 5* review otherwise.

I absolutely loved living here. Very quiet and clean complex. Excellent maintenance crew as well!
