David Sampson was our agent in purchasing a condo in the South End. His support and service was outstanding, including thorough explanations of all that needed to be done, rapid, complete responses to all our questions, and very timely interactions with other parties involved in the process. As I mentioned in my introduction, I’m currently located in Salt Lake City, and I don’t have the luxury of casually touring every property I come across. I don’t view apartments unless I’ve had the opportunity to review the lease first. I don’t think that’s unreasonable, it’s simply respecting both of our time. If you’re “not in the business of sending over a copy of the lease agreement before viewing” , which is a weird way to say a lack of transparency, then I’m certainly not in the business of becoming someone’s tenant that you represent. I’ll be moving on to agents and landlords who operate with professionalism, clarity and not an overwhelming amount of attitude and pretentiousness.
