Salt Lake City VA Fisher House

The Fisher House is an absolute GODSEND for Veterans and their families! ♥️ We were completely blown away by the kindness and hospitality we experienced. The house is stunningly gorgeous and the staff quickly became like family. We were served delicious meals by volunteer groups and even given gifts for my first mother's day spent away from home, without my little people. They've thought of everything. It was an incredible experience and we were blessed abundantly. Thank you Fisher House!

The VA Fisher House is truly a blessing! We were granted a lodging voucher from the VA to come in the night before surgery to stay at a local hotel since we drove in 6 hours from Colorado and surgery was scheduled for first thing the next morning. Then, the day of surgery, I was able to check into my room at The Fisher House, as reserved. At check-in I was presented with the Grand tour, detailed explanation of the amenities along with a nice bag of toiletries (some of which I hadn't thought of packing but ended up coming in handy). I had a beautiful, very clean room and thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. I checked out the day he was released and I couldn't be more grateful that this place exists for Veteran families. Absolutely wonderful. Staying so close to the VA hospital was great. Quinn and Heather made my husband and me feel so welcomed. The rooms are super clean. There is alot of places to just sit and relax inside and outside in the garden area. We loved it. It really took alot of pressure off of the trip to Salt Lake City. Thank you so much for Fisher house.

It was so comforting to have a beautiful place to stay during my family’s time of need. Everything we could have needed was provided free of charge. The VA campus felt safe, even walking outside alone at night. I cannot thank the staff enough for making us feel welcome and for all they do. I hope my family will not have to return any time soon, but if we do, the Fisher House is like a home away from home.
