My mother purchased one of these atrocities late last year and the home has been a constant headache. The windows do not fit or close/open correctly. The walls resemble cardboard in that you can hear everything through them. The fence is made of a cheap, thin wood that you can see then neighbors through. And to top it all off, the AC stopped working last night and it is still not working. She's owned this home for less than a year and the AC stops working right as summer begins. Please avoid this homebuilder.
I purchased a home from Pacesetter Homes, and it has been a disaster from day one. The house was built using the cheapest materials, with numerous construction errors including broken materials, unfinished parts, and about 20 holes left in the wall from their failed attempts to find a stud—none of which were patched. They poured the foundation wrong, leading to severe cracks. When I sought help, I was referred to their home warranty company, which they claim offers full coverage for 1, 5, and 10 years, but they denied all my claims because the issues "weren’t noted during the initial walkthrough," which happened months before I moved in. This company will say anything to make a sale, but once you’ve purchased, they bait and switch, leaving you to deal with the mess. Buying a Pacesetter hom
I recently had the pleasure of building my dream home with Pacesetter Homes, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Susan, our salesperson, and Jason, the builder, were instrumental in making this journey smooth and gratifying. Susan's expertise and dedication guided me through the selection process effortlessly. She understood my needs, offered valuable insights, and ensured a stress-free experience while choosing floor plans and finishes. Jason's craftsmanship and commitment to excellence were evident in every aspect of construction. His attention to detail and passion for quality resulted in a home that exceeded my expectations. The seamless communication between Susan and Jason created a harmonious process, providing regular updates and swift resolutions to any concern
Nice look from the outside. I know not every home you buy is not perfect. Utilizing pre-walk through is great to have a list you see needing attention and repair. This Builder will take many days and weeks to comply. Till this writing they have not complied with important issues. I do not believe it is the Builder ‘s fault. Dealing with Susan the Pacesetter agent and Jeremy supposed to be ensuring discrepancies were done is a nightmare. They demonstrate false reassurance. They do not walk to their talk. Both Communication is poor. If you have to point to Jeremy the discrepancies you see that needs to be fix, he will react and look irritated. Both displayed poor customer service. I recommend not to deal with these guys.
Updated review: There have been too many issues to mention in my new home. I wrote another review that looks like it was deleted, I’ve posted pics, but there have been more since. I had a water leak in my house at the back door they had to seal another space that was open to outside elements along the back of my house. I’ve had about 20 different people in my home since I moved into it, to fix things the builder did not fix, that I was told they would many times, before I moved in. Now, the warranty company is fixing them. Not a good experience at all with Pacesetter.
