Sabal Homes

I bought a new home from Sabal homes roughly around 2017. I spent 4000 on the HVAC and the duct work cost me another 600 in 2020.... because they were not installed properly!! I've had many other expenses not nearly this costly but it adds up for a brand new house I spent a lot of money on. They were very precise in their warranty. Initially after purchase this was some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I waited this long because Charleston is a small community....But the injustice of how this company operates is not a good experience. DO NOT BUY!!

I give Sabal a 2 because their floor plan worked for us and they accommodated our need to close quickly. Unfortunately, I would have rather had a house worthy of the almost 400k we paid. This post will be 1 of multiple I will be making detailing our experience with Sabal’s workmanship and service. Sadly, I can’t post pictures in this forum. We requested that Sabal wire our front porch for gas as we would be hanging a gas lantern later. We purchased our lantern and went to install but couldn’t because whatever material was used where their very cheap standard light was would crumble when drilling a whole. It is evident that they take pride in their quality, as well as their customer service. Beautiful homes, and a staff that seems to care. I am definitely looking forward to working with them when I purchase my first home!
