Ryan Homes at Azalea Woods

This review is regarding Jay Carlson the only sales person there unfortunately, when first visiting the scheduled appointment in October he was not that friendly to me and my wife. When we arrived he greeted us like if were bothering him and he had a collage football game on the tv he was watching. WE expressed that we are looking for more a private lot and that we don't want to settle as this is our forever home. He tried pushing this ugly lot that no one wanted #50 in the first section. that they still haven't sold. I told him to keep us posted as to up and coming lots that you think we would consider. he acted like whatever if we don't buy now prices will go up. He was a terrible SALES person originally we had Shannon Esse she was awesome but they moved her location. not cut throat like

We had a wonderful experience with Ryan Homes, we love our house! Every detail has been carefully thought out from the electrical outlets to rooms & closets layout and one level living (not including the basement). The homes are simply beautiful. They also include built in lawn irrigation systems, sod, trees, and they will mow your front and back lawn for you. We highly recommend Jay in sales to go over the options. He is very knowledgeable and warm. Staff in general are great - we were very happy with everyone we worked with. Our project manager, Zach, consistently went above and beyond. When you buy a new build, the person you’ll work most closely with is the project manager because they oversee the entire build. I have worked with appointments with several different customer service representatives while I wasn’t sure what dates I could make and change our dates to view homes all were very kind to work with us, I really had a lot of trouble with paper work required on how to download the deferent information but my loan person was great and patient and helped me get through it, my sales person was also great and patient answering all my phone calls and questions, all persons I contacted through email or phone calls were extremely kind and understanding

One of the worst experiences I've been through. Poor communication, shady sales managers, and I lost over $50,000 in the process. I'm glad my purchase didn't work out and I'm glad to be over dealing with the division. Sean's weekly update videos were the only part of the process that made me feel like it was worth it. I'm currently buying a new home build in VA by DR Horton and the experience has been wonderful compared to Ryan Homes. Quick responses from my sales rep, friendly and helpful project manager, overall very happy with this new route. I have a realtor this time around and the only thing I suggest if you decide to buy here is to 100% get a realtor. I was naive and thought they wouldn't try to screw me over. More than disappointed. I was first rushed to choose all the home options. By being rushed it made me miss some important ones. Now on to the building stage….. watch out complete disaster. If I didn’t point it out it would not get fixed. Structural issues! Trusses broken and not repaired. Post not properly joined. Now not one wall is flat or straight. Guys must have not had a square. What a Nightmare.
