Customer Reviews
The worst Management company I’ve ever came across. 1) Poor building maintenance, 2) have tenants missing work for inspectors that never show up, 3) their clients threaten tenants with Eviction lawsuits because their “management” failed to file necessary people work in a timely manner. 4) Homeless people constantly in the lobby, because the doors to the building doesn’t lock in the year I’ve been here 5) laundry room needs maintenance 6) elevators, barely work As a matter of fact it just hit that this may be the projects you hear about in songs. I’m leaving as soon as my contract is up $3500 a month I can easily get a condo
I was assaulted by this man, William Vera. He is the head of security at RY Management but they haven't fired him even though the assault is recorded on surveillance cameras. He's an ex-cop who tried to pull some strings to have me arrested, but instead the NYPD saw the surveillance recordings and charged him with harassment. We've seen him lose his cool and blow up at people several times, once even on the playground. This was the first time I've seen him actually get physical and when he lost it, slapped me, punched me, and then kicked me when I was on the ground. His own employees had to hold him back. Be careful. Stay safe. Keeps your kids away from this guy.
After several years living in 1601 3rd it's time to move into our new home in Jersey! Wanted to write a review of the good, bad & ugly of life at RY Condos. The Good: a) They have something you don't see in Manhattan: economic diversity, esp a ton of lower-middle-income residents. Was a middle-income Mitchell Lama & most of the old residents bought & stayed or rented when it converted in 2000's. So you also have lots of elderly residents. B) Great location to raise kids. Schools, activities, Ruppert Park & the building is kid friendly. The nannies & kids play in both the lobby & the hallways & no one cares. You can keep your gear outside your apt in the hallway & no one bothers it. The Bad: a) Management is useless. "DB" supposedly runs the place but she is utterly clueless. The place is r
The level of "ghetto" is unimaginable. They are more suited to be running Rikers Island. Their staff is completely unpolished and low class. They're incredibly dumb, lazy, and ineffective. They are the cheap option among "management" companies and as the old saying goes, "you pay for what you get". The people "managing" the incompetent people are even worse. GHETTO
This “management company” is discriminatory and exploitative. The majority of their employees I’ve had the misfortune of encountering are unethical, incompetent and have challenges with problem solving. RY Management is by far one of the worst companies I’ve dealt with to date. I advise no one to rent from them. Refer to Google for various complaints, lawsuits and settlements. If you too have the misfortune of dealing with this company address all of your concerns with community agencies that are operated by city, federal and state personnel.
