If you have a few years and a boatload of patience or if you’re just a glutton for punishment choose Laurel Mountain. If you’re just a normal person looking for a home choose anywhere else or just rent. You’ll be much better off with the latter. Troy is too concerned with his golf score to deliver customer service. He might make a good used car salesman one day but selling homes is way too much for him.

We purchased our home in December 2019, and told delivery would happen in December or January several opportunities were there to handle the delivery of our new home. Finally we were delivered on March 11,2020. Dan, Keith and all the rest of the crew who delivered and worked on our home have been FANTASTIC and many thanks to all of them. Troy is great on paper work, but is HORRIBLE on customer satisfaction and seeing to it that ALL repairs are handled and isn’t very good at handling issues with the manufacturer of the home and the acts like he’s doing you a favor when he does send someone to do the repairs. We love our home but we didn’t have the pleasant experience that my parents, brother or a few other family members had whilst Jerry (Troys father) was still running the Donegal locatio

Very unprofessional. Bad experience with the the owner. Would highly recommend going anywhere else but laurel mountain homes. Once the finance is done your basically on your own. They never answer or return phone calls and try to do as little as possible. Very,very disappointed with them and there practices. Been calling them with issues we've had since the beginning of the game they play and finally got the owner to contact me only after I threatened legal action. Really bad experience and don't have any plans of recommending them to anyone. They were great up until the home was delivered and totally disappeared after that. They act like they care when they are getting money but claim to be extremely busy and short staffed. They have every excuse to avoid following up with there obligatio
