Royal Breeze Apartments

Short version: My time at Royal Breeze was, overall, as negative as it could be. Roaches, thin walls, insane events, and inconsiderate neighbors all for an unreasonably high rent and utility cost. Management and maintenance were great, but it is clear that the property is too far in disrepair for small fixes to do anything. It’s just another notch in corporate’s belt and will continue to be strung along with little to no care for the residents’ well-being. Long version: Too long to post. The administrator was very professional, introducing and explaining the apartment types we needed, and then leading us to see the rooms. We were happy to listen to his explanations and introductions of the different apartment types and the community's facilities such as the swimming pool and gym. Ultimately, we chose a place we were very satisfied with! With the administrator's help, we filled out forms and verified some information and documents. The next step of the check-in process was quick, and the approval time was also short; we received a reply the next day and successfully signed the move-in contract and received the keys! My wife and I recently moved here from Iowa, and despite notifying the staff four weeks in advance of our arrival, we arrived to an apartment with no working air conditioning for our entire first two days. We were later told that maintenance is unavailable on weekends, leaving us without support despite the prior notice and scheduling. Unfortunately, this has not been an isolated issue. We have now lived here for two months, and our air conditioning unit continues to completely shut down about once a week. We have followed all instructions from management, including keeping our blinds closed and not setting the thermostat below 70 degrees because we were told it would blow fuses. Just signed our 9 year lease. Sure there’s been some bug problems, but the office always set up an extra exterminator appointment. Anytime we’ve ever had a problem with anything, the office and maintenance has been extremely helpful and have fixed it immediately. As long as decent people with respect for others are here, along with the staff it’s a great place to live.

This is the best apartment complex I've ever rented from in the 20 years that I've lived in this area. They make things easy for you, even when it comes to being a bit late with rent. They help you in every way possible to make you stay a part of the community. The only thing they ask of you is to keep them informed about your situation. The office personnel set the standard for what you should expect from a rental community. They have rules that they too have to follow, but they go out of their way to do right by you, and in return, all they ask is that you do right by them. I can't imagine being happier living anywhere else. They also organize events for the tenants and their children, especially during the holidays and the start of the school year. These events are designed to bring the
