Let me outline all the things that have happened in the one year I’ve lived in a property managed by Rotenberg Management: - Mold twice - No hot water for two months - Bedbugs, which was hidden from tenants for over a year - Mice - A leaky ceiling that was never fixed (I do not live on the top floor) - An elevator whose inspection has long expired. When I called to complain, they replaced the expired inspection with a sign that says to call the office for the inspection. This is illegal. - The entrance of the building leaked water and the ceiling disintegrated onto the floor; this stayed that way for several months - They charge a $150 lock change fee in addition to first, last, security, and broker’s fee. Wish I could give them zero stars, failed to follow any of the MA Protocols for the Prevention and Control of Bed Bugs. Moved into the building without being told that there was an infestation for at least 7 months already. They do not respond in a timely manner to bed bug complaints. They are continuing to allow the issue to get worse by not treating aggressively. They do not inform neighboring tenants of infestations and just allow bed bugs to travel unit to unit. Do not use this company unless you want all your tenants to be unhappy and lose lots of money.

There have been some bad experiences in the past, but those are due to some of the people that worked there..who are now GONE! Rich K. Has been the contact for the building I live in and he is AWESOME! Friendly, keeps you in the loop and gets things done as best he can...sometimes things are out of his control..what can you do? Been dealing with Rich K. For years and he is the BEST!!
