Maintenance takes months to fix anything, or sometimes never bothers to follow up on requests. Owners raise the rent to the max every year, almost 10 percent increases. Communicating is almost impossible, they don’t answer phones or emails at the office if you are having problems. They mess up accounting all the time and send past due bills for other people’s accounts, or lose checks entirely, but you can’t really fix anything for months because they won’t answer messages. The only way to pay rent is via a check or online which charges a service fee. My own and my neighbors packages, mail, and checks have been stolen and police reports filed but management doesn’t care. Units are constantly moving out, every single month there are vacancies.
