Riverside Arms Apartments

Wish I can put 0 stars here 1 is not even deserved of how I was treated. Anticipated on moving here as I was called by the leasing agency that my name was next on their list to move into a unit. Submitted my section 8 voucher and all documents that were asked of me to them via email, the property manager Aaliyah stated she was submitting my packet/paperwork. Weeks go by, I didn’t hear anything from them . I reach out to Aaliyah again around November and she then tells me that the apartment was no longer available due to the previous renters no longer moving. They never emailed or called me to communicate that to me. The last thing I was told was that my paperwork was being processed. Fast forward to January 2026 I had got an extension from section 8. Aaliyah stated to me again that there

The entire staff always greet me with a smile when ever I need assistance and are very helpful to my needs, and are quick to attend to any problems that arise . The Office manager Ms. Moore always makes time to answer questions when I’m not clear about something and very quick with responding to emails. The maintenance supervisor here Jeffrey is always attentive. There was never a time where I put in a request for service or follow up that it was not taken care of within 24 hours. Jeffrey is very respectful and respects your space. They are definitely a plus to living space.

Riverside Arms is a great place to live . I was one of the first families to move into the complex. Management and staff are all ways helpful. The Property Manager Jacqueline Moore has always been helpful. She makes sure the buildings are kept clean ,safe and the work orders are handled in a timely manner. The children have a safe play area on the grounds which is great . The parking spots are limited but other than that I have no complaints . It's a safe clean place to live .

Ive been living here for three years & I never really had problems until this year. The office manager Jackie is so rude & very unprofessional. She never answer the ph when you call. She sit right there at that desk, at the window and will not find out what your needs are. Her favorite line is "call the office'! When you see her outside, she don't try to handle any matters but will rudely talk to you like whatever you need doesn't matter. They really need to give that job to someone who enjoy what they do & care about their tenants. Ive been asking for bombing for roaches for MONTHS! NO RESULTS! SEEN MICE CLIMBING IN MY VENT, NO RESULTS! BEEN ASKING FOR PARKING WHICH A PARKING SPOT IS AVAILABLE BUT STILL HAVEN'T BEEN ASSIGNED & SHES VERY AWARE ITS AVAILABLE! SHE JUST NASTY NASTY FOR NO REA

I moved here a year ago. I haven’t had any major problem since I moved here. I had a leak once and contacted Jackie Moore and she sent someone to look at it the same day. She also contacts me back in a timely fashion when I reach out to her. Jackie Moore also answers all the my questions and gives me a lot of information that I need. I always thanks her for the time that she takes out to provide information that’s needed. Riverside arms also had a security company come out and give us information on how to take free classes and get your SORA license. They also have a summer program for the kids to receive breakfast and lunch. My problem with living here has nothing to do with management, it’s the parking and people allowing their pets to poop on the sidewalks.
