Perfect place for mold, broken elevators, non existent maintenance staff, violating Virginia law, and rats! What a truly horrible experience here, and a leasing office that will drain you of every penny possible. To start my experience with riverside, I had black mold growing on my AC Unit. I promptly submitted a maintenance request through their resident portal with pictures, which was closed almost immediately and nothing done about the issue. I waited to see if maybe maintenance would come, and 2 weeks later called the leasing office, who told me to “submit a ticket so maintenance can take a look.” I created another maintenance request, this time with the mold spreading onto the roof. Finally they came, dragging my rug into the living room, moving the bed, and spray painting everything

Being blunt: Amenity Fee, not worth it. Almost every treadmill is broken and half the weights are missing. Good photos online for the gym but it’s not worth it in reality. I don’t think a single person has ever used the volleyball court and both tennis courts are in shambles. One literally doesn’t even have a tennis fence up it’s been broken for like a year and a half. Packages will go missing or end up stolen. Christel is nice but it’s incredibly frustrating dealing with packages from building one to building two and then they are missing or stolen. Apartment itself is ok. It’s cheap for the area but all ventilation is connected so if your neighbors smoke you’ll smell it. They send out emails about it being a non smoking community but my apt reeks of pot from others. Handicap doors are al

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Riverside Apartments is a beautiful property with a great sense of community. The neighbors are welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and positive. What really stands out is the management team—they are truly the best. They’re professional, responsive, and genuinely care about the people they serve. Every interaction has been pleasant, efficient, and handled with care. It’s clear they take pride in the property and the community as a whole. Riverside is a place that’s clearly well-managed and easy to recommend.

The application process for this apartment was great, we had been let down by another apartment block and only had 3 days before I was arriving in the USA to be with my fiance. The staff were amazing and they had everything sorted for us to move in, everything was so easy, very helpful staff and they always answer any of my questions i have. The apartment itself is a 1 bed 1 bathroom with washer/dryer and it has plenty of storage and the bedroom and living room has loads of space, the kitchen is a little small to what I would like, but I get by. The balcony is a plus with afternoon sun and great views. We have a free shuttle bus that takes you to the metro midweek, but it is only a 10 minute walk. It also runs every Saturday to the supermarkets. Plenty of parking, always spaces available.

8 months of living here so far. Here are some things you should expect from this apartment complex. Laundry: The machine to load your card is frequently out of service. You'll have to walk to other towers to reload your card which is very annoying during the winter. Apartment: I'm paying around $1700 for a studio. One annoyance I have is their choice of the bathroom faucet. The water pressure is also inconsistent and when you have a waterfall faucet it will spray at you. Parking: Roads have not been repaired idk for how long. Been here for 8 months and they still have not been repaired. Are they waiting for enough people to complain before they actually fix it? Heater: Poor placement of heater. It triggers the smoke alarm. There are definitely some positives. So far no roaches or pest
